District administrators need to be informed of the options, the benefits, the pitfalls, the players. Third party reporting can give an educator an unbiased look at the particulars involved in choosing a testing and assessment partner. Included here are a number of articles concerning Thinkgate, our client districts, and matters facing educators as a whole.

Brains Invade NECC

The NECC 2007 brought 18,000+ tech-savvy educators to Atlanta, Georgia this year. The "Who's Who" in technology vendors plied their wares in a filled to capacity Georgia World Congress Center. Hundreds of vendors tried to lure potential customers in with the latest and greatest in hardware and software. Commemorative trinkets and giveaways were plenty, but none so sought after, it seems, as Thinkgate's "Weapon of Mass Instruction" tees. The aisles were filled with the white-brain motif of this marketing savvy company. Once wrapped in brain apparel, Thinkgate walked attendees through a well thought-out presentation of their crowd pleasing software. Though one of the smaller booth spaces in the hall, Thinkgate consistently drew a crowd.

Curriculum Advantage, Inc. Adds Thinkgate As Assessment Partner

Curriculum Advantage, Inc., publishers of Classworks -- a network-based solution of reading and mathematics curriculum for grades K-12 -- announced today a new partnership with Thinkgate. Classworks will now be able to read and import test results from Thinkgate's assessment resource, Testgate, and then automatically prescribe an individualized learning plan of reading and mathematics activities based on Testgate reports.

"Our goal with Classworks is to make sure everyone is getting the most relevant activity based on any assessment a district is using so we are pleased to add Thinkgate to our list of assessment partners," said Mr. Lindsey Cook, CEO of Curriculum Advantage, Inc. "With multiple assessment resources tied into Classworks, teachers now have even greater flexibility and power when generating individualized instruction based on student test results."
